From the song writing journals:

“This song grew out of another collaboration between me and Brock Geiger. Brock has this way of nudging me into new sonic territory, pushing me to stretch and surprise myself in the best ways. From new melodies to utilizing my polyphonic vocals in the background, it’s one of my favourite songs yet.

“So Much More” is rooted in the memory of my very first date with my partner, a rainy Calgary night. We sat in Proof (the bar) for hours, just talking, before wandering back through Central Gardens to my apartment. At one point, he put his hands on my face to kiss me, and they just… fit. Perfectly. That’s the feeling I wanted to capture here: the urgency of falling fast and hard for someone who feels like your soulmate. Neither of us was looking, but there it was; instant, electric, no dress rehearsal. Just life unfolding exactly as it should.”
